My reason:
Positive climate action needs us all.
The City of Victoria has a bold, aggressive and thorough Climate Leadership Plan (2018). From reducing carbon emissions to improving our stormwater systems, we all need to commit and do more now at a local level. We need to show leadership in working across sectors and interests to succeed. We need to do this together.
My commitments:
- I will help to ensure the City continues to support residents and businesses as we all take action. This is about all of us coming together to fundamentally shift and re-focus on our sustainability as a society, no one can do it alone.
- I will bring us together to support the City’s current Climate Leadership Plan.
